 Trump's $5 Million "Gold Card" for Wealthy Foreigners: Fast-Track to Citizenship! 🌟💰 In a groundbreaking move, President Donald Trump announced that the US will soon sell a "gold card" to wealthy foreigners for a hefty $5 million fee. 



This golden ticket not only offers green card privileges but also paves the way for citizenship, enticing affluent individuals worldwide to invest in America. 


Speaking from the Oval Office, Trump emphasized the immense benefits, stating, "We’re going to be selling a gold card. You have a green card. This is a gold card."


Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick, standing alongside Trump, explained that this initiative will replace the current EB-5 immigrant investor visa program, which allows foreign investors to fund US projects in exchange for visas. The gold card program aims to attract "wonderful world-class global citizens" through rigorous vetting.


Trump suggested that millions of these cards could be sold, potentially generating billions in revenue. When asked about selling to Russian oligarchs, Trump responded with an open mind, acknowledging their potential interest. This new program has sparked both excitement and controversy, as it offers a quicker and more direct path to citizenship for those who can afford it.


The EB-5 program, which has faced criticism and calls for reform, will now be overshadowed by the gold card's allure. Created in 1992, the EB-5 program required investments of $1,050,000, or $800,000 in distressed areas, to create American jobs. 


Trump’s administration had previously attempted to increase these amounts, but a federal judge struck down the changes in 2021.


This announcement marks a significant shift in US immigration policy, promising to reshape the landscape for wealthy immigrants. As the gold card program prepares to launch in two weeks, all eyes are on how it will impact America's economy and social fabric.
