  Caught on Camera: San Jose Man Arrested for Keying Tesla in Viral Video! 🚗 A shocking act of vandalism has gone viral, capturing a man keying a Tesla in a Costco parking lot in San Jose. The incident, recorded by the car’s Sentry Mode, shows a white-bearded man in a "USA" leather jacket scratching the side of the Tesla before driving off in a dark-colored Hyundai SUV. Within 24 hours of the video surfacing, San Jose police identified and arrested the suspect, marking a swift response to what they called an act of felony vandalism.




The video, which has garnered over 600 views on X, sparked outrage and debate online. The suspect, when confronted in a second video, denied the act, claiming, "I didn’t do that." However, his actions and attire left little room for doubt. Some speculate the vandalism was politically motivated, targeting Tesla due to opposition against its CEO, Elon Musk. 


Even Musk himself reacted to the incident with a simple American flag emoji, while San Jose Mayor Matt Mahan condemned the act, likening it to "breaking a clock because you don’t like the time it shows."


This incident highlights a troubling trend of anti-Tesla vandalism amid rising protests against Musk. Police have urged the public to respect one another and the law, emphasizing that personal frustrations never justify illegal actions. The swift arrest serves as a reminder that justice will be served, even in cases of seemingly minor property damage.
