 Monster Hunter Wilds Breaks Records Despite Terrible Reviews! 🐉🎮 Monster Hunter Wilds has taken the gaming world by storm, smashing records on Steam despite receiving abysmal user reviews. As the first massive release of 2025, it garnered over 700,000 concurrent players on Steam, peaking at 1.3 million. 



This incredible achievement puts it on track to become the most-played game in the series' history, surpassing previous titles like Monster Hunter World and Monster Hunter Rise.


However, the game's success hasn't been without controversy. Players have flooded Steam with negative reviews, citing major optimization and performance issues. Despite these problems, the game continues to attract a massive player base. 


Many reviews highlight the game's potential, with one user stating, "This game is absolutely amazing - but has the worst optimization I’ve ever seen."


Players who had no issues during the pre-launch betas are now struggling with poor framerates and frequent crashes. Capcom has responded with the usual troubleshooting guide, but the community is still waiting for substantial updates to address these issues. 


Interestingly, the game doesn't fare much better on PlayStation 5, with reports of muddy visuals at higher framerates.


Despite these setbacks, Monster Hunter Wilds remains a testament to Capcom's ability to create engaging and immersive action-RPGs. The game's unique monster animations and interactions set it apart from other titles, and its potential for becoming an online multiplayer phenomenon is undeniable.
