She Fled the U.S.—Now She’s Caught: South Carolina Murder Suspect Found in Refugee Camp in the Netherlands! 🚨 It sounds like something out of a Netflix true crime doc, but this one’s very real—and still unfolding. Kendra Wilson, a 33-year-old woman from Seneca, South Carolina, was just arrested in the Netherlands after being on the run for years in connection to a chilling murder case. She didn’t just go off the grid—she and her young daughter were found living in what officials describe as a refugee camp. Yeah, a refugee camp.
Wilson and her mother, Cynthia Wilson, were wanted in the 2021 murder of Kendra’s ex-boyfriend, 21-year-old Connor Ethan Floyd, who was also the father of her child. According to police, both women were charged with being accessories before and after the fact, plus conspiracy to commit murder. While Cynthia was arrested back in March in South Carolina, Kendra slipped away—until now.
Thanks to international cooperation between the U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force and Dutch authorities, Kendra was tracked down and arrested on April 4. Her arrest wasn’t random either—the Provisional Arrest Request that made it happen was prepped and executed in just 24 hours. That’s next-level coordination for an international capture.
She allegedly fled the country the moment she found out she was being charged. What followed was a full-on international manhunt that led straight to Europe. Her daughter was safely recovered and is now being placed with family.
This case has been described as shocking and tragic by neighbors, some of whom still remember hearing gunshots that night in 2021. The Lyman community hasn’t forgotten—and now, justice is catching up.
Kendra is currently awaiting extradition, and the story is far from over. Let us know in the comments—do you think this was a planned escape from the beginning, or a desperate act by someone who knew time was up?
