 Trump's Tariff Pause: Temporary Relief for Canadian and Mexican Imports Until April 2! 🌍 In a week filled with retaliatory actions and market volatility, President Donald Trump has granted temporary tariff exemptions for Canadian and Mexican goods covered by the USMCA until April 2.  This move comes as investors and business leaders closely monitor the escalating trade war. According to a White House official, about 50% of Mexican imports and 38% of Canadian imports are covered by the trade agreement. Trump is set to enact "reciprocal tariffs" on April 2 for foreign nations that impose import taxes on U.S. goods.
